Wallabies back Kurtley Beale says he is close to deciding whether he will continue playing rugby in Australia and has indicated some frustration at not starting in enough Tests.

Beale, who has come off the bench in 13 of his last 16 Tests, is waiting for his manager to get back to him over a deal with powerful English club Wasps.

He has played five-eighth and inside centre for the Waratahs this season and fullback for both NSW and Wallabies in past years. When asked on Monday where he wanted to line up for Australia, Beale said: "I'd like to start."
