Sean McMahon has put his hand up to fill the vacancy left by injured Wallabies star David Pocock for the second Test against England.

Pocock will miss the remainder of the series with a fractured eye socket and Rebels flanker McMahon says he is willing and able to step up if required for the clash at his home Super Rugby venue, Melbourne's AAMI Park.

"The coaches will choose the team they want to go with and if I get the opportunity then I get the opportunity - I'll take it with both hands," McMahon said on Sunday.
